Cornish born, Former student at Camborne college where I studied Art & Design. Moved to University and continued to study Games Design. On completion of my studies at University took up my post as Web designer and Media Administrator at Peninsula.
Cornish born. Among my many interests Radio and its many aspects has been a burning passion from a very early age. My involvement commenced way back in 1998 and I have been very involved with Hospital Radio,Community Radio and internet radio for 20 years +. During that period of time I underwent intense training at the BBC in London. Peninsula Radio was and still remains a Community Service which between 2000 to 2009 was focused around the Redruth, Camborne and Pool, area’s and at that time also provided a market radio service for Pool Market each weekend and operated the only training facility for young and not so young people’s who wished to learn about the media of radio here in Cornwall. However Peninsula’s involvement included covering many events throughout Cornwall from Penzance to Newquay Along with assisting at some 20 events each year ranging from Disco’s to switch on of Christmas lights My first taste of internet radio was via Off The Chart Radio from 2007 to 2014 when it sadly went off air for the last time. It was another amazing experience and made some close and life long friends. Rejoining Hospital Radio in 2009 which by then, was renamed CHBN (Community and Hospital Broadcasting Network covering the Truro City), and in 2014 they became a Community Radio station. I also am activity involved in constructing interviews for the Live Wire Show produced by Steve Osborne Media. My interviews have included Jimmy Osmond , Jeremy Swift, Joan Armatrading and Tito Jackson to name just a few. I have been living in the Probus and Roseland all my life. so being re-involved with Peninsula Radio is a natural step in re-afirming my ties with the peoples, stories and the events of the Roseland.
